A native of the United Kingdom, Sandy and her husband Colin have lived in the USA since 1995 and in Blacksburg since 2004. They have two children. Tim graduated from the Business School at Virginia Tech and is currently back there working in the Human Resources Department. Catherine graduated from UVA and is currently completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at VCU. From personal experiences, Sandy is very knowledgeable about the local schools and student activities in the area.

Sandy's background is in teaching and computer science. She has a Bachelor of Education degree in PE with Math, and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of London. She has worked fulltime as a teacher and as a consultant in the computer industry. Her main hobbies are tennis and travel. She has held many leadership positions in both sports and local committees.

A career switch to Real Estate was easy for Sandy due to her love of homes and in meeting people. Having moved several times, including internationally, she understands the need to minimize stress in the buying and selling process. She loves leading the NRV TEAM and believes strongly in continuous learning, providing the best service possible to everyone at all times, and holding all team members to the highest ethical standards.

Her calm manner, attention to detail, great negotiating skills, and both organizational and listening skills are her attributes, and her clients get a pleasant bonus with her soothing British accent!
